India-based esports tournament and gaming event company NODWIN Gaming will fully acquire Turkey based esports and gaming production company Ninja Global FZCO for an undisclosed amount, according to a filing this week by its parent company, Nazara Technologies. The company’s primary business is production related to esports and gaming, with a focus on its home country and other countries in the Middle East such as the United Arab Emirates.
NODWIN will use this acquisition to further expand its foothold in the region—or more specifically, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates—and will tap into Ninja Global’s network to provide language support and access to game publishers and esports-focused stakeholders looking to work within those markets.
NODWIN most recently made an $8.67M USD investment in Germany based esports and gaming agency Freaks 4U Gaming, which primarily works in the DACH region in Europe. With Freaks 4U and Ninja Global, NODWIN’s ability to operate tournaments and gaming-focused events includes Europe, India, South Asia, and MENA (Middle East North Africa).
