Ford Motor Company has partnered with Full Squad Gaming for a road trip to TwitchCon later this month and will feature a custom built Ford van decked out with gaming and streaming equipment.
Financial terms of this activation and partnership were not disclosed.
The “Transit Trail Gaming” van is described as a “mobile gaming studio” that is decked out with a “gaming desk, a custom-built couch, a reactive cloud ceiling, external gaming stations,” and gaming and streaming equipment, along with the ability to stream from anywhere.
The Full Squad Gaming Crew will take a West Coast road trip, chronicling several stops on their way to TwitchCon at the end of the month, with planned guest appearances from influencers Musty, Chell, and Sapnap. In addition, several Ford vehicle lines will be highlighted along the way.Ā Ā
First, the van will set-up camp in Mount Kare (part of the Angeles National Forest in Wrightwood, California) to engage in some gaming activities sponsored by the F-150 Lightning. Next it will make a stop at Mt. Potosi (a remote area southwest of Las Vegas) for an event called the āBronco Raptor Off-Rodeo,ā where members of Full Squad Gaming will get behind the wheel of a Bronco Raptor for some “extreme off-roading” experiences with the help of some experts.
All this will ultimately lead to TwitchCon, which takes place Oct. 20-23 in Las Vegas, where Full Squad Gaming will host a podcast during the event, speaking with high-profile gamers such as SypherPK, Daltoosh, Tarik, and Andrea Botez. The Gamer Van will also be open to the public and located at the Ford Booth during the event.Ā
