The Christian McCaffrey Foundation announced this week that NFL pro Christian McCaffrey will be hosting the second annual Logan Bowl, bracket-style Madden NFL 24 tournament, on Friday (May 3). The Christian McCaffrey Foundation has partnered with Ohio-based esports company eFuse to help facilitate the event.
The Logan Bowl is part of the Logan Project, which honors Christian McCaffrey fan Logan Hale, who lost his battle with childhood cancer in late 2021. The goal of the Logan Bowl is to raise funds for children’s hospitals in the United States, with a focus on cities that have a local NFL team.
During the 2023 Logan Bowl, McCaffrey and fellow NFL players successfully raised over $150K USD and provided gaming consoles to six new cities across the nation.
Participants for the 2024 Logan Bowl include NFL players Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles), Austin Ekeler (DC Commanders), Mike Evans (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Bijan Robinson (Atlanta Falcons), Denzel Ward (Cleveland Browns), Adam Thielen (Carolina Panthers), Hollywood Brown (Kansas City Chiefs), Marcus Williams (Baltimore Ravens), Aidan Hutchinson (Detroit Lions), and more to be announced.
McCaffrey will be joined by three-time Pro Bowler and NFL analyst Greg Olsen, who will serve as a co-host.
The competition will be broadcast May 3 at 12 p.m. EDT on Twitch and YouTube. For more on how you can donate to this cause, visit christianmccaffreyfoundation.org.
