The National Football League (NFL) and Enthusiast Gaming (NASDAQ: EGLX, TSX: EGLX) announced Wednesday the impending launch of the second season of its video gaming series, NFL Tuesday Night Gaming. Season 2 of the live weekly show is set to premiere on Sept. 12, on NFL TNG’s Twitch, YouTube, and X (Twitter) channels.

Season 2 will feature content creators TypicalGamer, NickEh30, QTCinderella (pictured), Symfuhny, and Sykkuno, as well as current and past NFL players Jamaal Williams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Fred Warner, DeSean Jackson, Chris Johnson, and others to be announced.

The new season will launch with a pre-launch “Play Day episode” hosted by rapper Quavo on Sept. 5, live from Mercedes-Benz Stadium (home of the Atlanta Falcons).  This “field day” competition will feature four teams featuring Desi Banks, Todd Gurley, MMG, J.I.D, and Rob49, competing across seven outdoor games. The special episode will premiere on Sept. 5 from 1-4 p.m. EST.

Enthusiast said in its announcement that Season 2 will feature “themed episodes and bespoke content” that are tied into FL community initiatives including Latino Heritage Month, the NFL’s Crucial Catch, a partnership with the American Cancer Society (ACS), and “the NFL’s Salute to Service, the league’s year-round effort to honor, empower and connect with the nation’s service members, veterans and their families.”

Finally, four students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have been awarded three-week internships on the series which will include virtual learning sessions with NFL TNG broadcast and production talent, and an on-air appearance live from WePlay Studios in Los Angeles.
