India-based esports organization Orangutan Gaming announced this week that it signed a strategic media partnership with esports and gaming media platform Esportz.in.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new deal, Esportz.in will amplify Orangutan Gaming’s presence across all of its digital platforms through media coverage, “cross-promotional opportunities, collaborative events and tournaments, exclusive content collaborations, community engagement initiatives, integration of innovative gaming technologies, development of educational resources, and commercial opportunities.“
“We are thrilled to forge this strategic partnership with Orangutan Gaming,” said Santosh Smith, director of Capital Group, the owner of Esportz.in. “This collaboration signifies our dedication to fostering growth within the gaming community and providing unparalleled exposure to emerging talents and innovative gaming ventures.”
Of course, being that this is a marketing deal, Esportz.in will likely have to include disclosures on any actual news/reporting/feature content it writes related to Orangutan Gaming due to having direct financial ties to the organization going forward.
Orangutan Gaming fields teams in Battleground Mobile India (BGMI), Free Fire, and Valorant, and operates three core verticals: esports, talent management, and apparel. The company currently has partnerships and sponsorships with Rooter, Puma, CYBEART, KREO, WINGS, and RAIASKARAN.
