TPV-USA owned monitor brand AOC announced this week that it has renewed its partnership to serve as the official monitor partner for Red Bull Kumite, the popular Street Fighter 6 global tournament operated by Red Bull. Red Bull Kumite is set to take place on March 16 – 17, at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York.

Financial terms of the renewed deal were not disclosed.

Red Bull Kumite will feature 16 of the world’s top Street Fighter players—14 of which received direct invites—competing for a chunk of an overall prize pool of around $43K USD. Among those competing are champions such as Adel “Big Bird” Anouche, Victor “Punk” Woodley, Saul Leonardo “MenaRD” Mena II, and Japanese pro player Tsunehiro “Gachikun” Kanamori.

Prize pool breakdown:

  • 1st – $9K
  • 2nd – $5K
  • 3rd-4th – $4K each
  • 5th-8th – $3K each
  • 9th-16th – $2K each

Under the terms of the deal, AOC will provide monitors during competitions, and its branding will appear on all Red Bull Kumite marketing across social media and streaming channels where the event is being broadcast. Further, AOC is hosting a giveaway until March 20 that will award consumers with $4K worth of its gaming monitor products.

Red Bull Kumite will be live streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and covered via AOC’s Instagram page.  The event begins March 16 at 11 AM EDT and runs until 9:30 PM EDT on March 17.

More details about Red Bull Kumite can be found here.
