North American gaming lifestyle and esports organization XSET announced this week the launch of a new apparel capsule collection to celebrate the rebranding of Queens Gaming Collective.
In January, the Queen Gaming Collective was officially rebranded as XSET QUEENS Gaming Collective, or simply XSET QUEENS. Launched in 2020, Queens Gaming Collective describes itself as an organization on a mission to promote women and provide more opportunities for them in the gaming space. The organization was acquired by XSET in April of 2023 for an undisclosed amount.
The collection celebrates members of the XSET QUEENS team including USWNT soccer star Allie Long, pro basketball player Alexis Jones, and other signed talent including Demisux, Cray, AvaGG, and Erica Nagashima.
“When the XSET QUEENS asked me to participate in their first-ever fashion collection, I was thrilled because I love what the XSET QUEENS stand for, which is women’s empowerment in gaming,” said Allie Long. “As a pro athlete who is also in the public eye, I can relate to a lot of what female content creators experience. It was exciting to me because the QUEENS themselves were involved in the ideas and concepts for the line. I liked how they weaved their experiences as gaming creators into the styles, addressed things like the importance of self-care and protection, and tackled the challenges of being well-known streamers in a positive, playful, and empowering way. I am honored to be a part of it.”
This first capsule under the new branding features themed and branded socks, keychains, leggings, biker shorts, skorts, robes, cut out tops, and beanies. XSET QUEENS said in a release that it plans another drop in February. More details can be found here.
