Sentinels partner with BENQ brand ZOWIE in 2024

Los Angeles-based esports organization Sentinels announced Tuesday that it has partnered with BenQ-owned gaming and esports peripherals brand ZOWIE.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the deal, ZOWIE will work with Sentinels to “introduce innovative products designed to elevate gaming performance” and create content that tells the story of why pro players choose “ZOWIE products” when competing at the professional level.

Sentinels will also help promote ZOWIE’s slate of new product offerings in 2024, including the upcoming line of DyAc 2 monitors (including a new 540Hz monitor model). The partnership does not appear to be focused on any particular esports discipline; Sentinels currently competes in Halo, Apex Legends, and Valorant.

While not disclosed in its announcement, one would assume that ZOWIE branding will appear on social media channels, on team jerseys, and in content created by Sentinels’ line-up of streamer talent.

ZOWIE joins Sentinels’ other sponsors and partners including OTK’s Starforge Systems and energy drink company ADVANCED.

ZOWIE is an endemic brand within esports and has—in the past—partnered with Valorant Champions Tour in multiple regions (VCT Americas, VCT EMEA, etc.); tournaments and circuits run by ESL FACEIT Group, BLAST, and PGL; Halo Championship Series (HCS); and esports organizations such as M80.
