Danish esports organization Astralis and retail giant Elgiganten announced a partnership on Friday.
Financial terms of this new partnership were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new deal, the companies will work together on a number of “activations, offers, events and meet & greets with its three Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) teams in Astralis Nexus [its online portal] and in various Elgiganten warehouses across the country.” The Elgiganten logo is already being prominently displayed on the jerseys worn by Astralis’ Counter-Strike players, according to a release.
Elgiganten joins other Astralis partners and sponsors including hummel, OMEN by HP, Logitech G, Secretlab, FACEIT, Bybit, Byou Sports, :Dribe, and Stimorol Nordic.
In addition to competing in CS:GO with men’s, women’s, and talent divisions, Astralis also fields competitive teams and players in League of Legends European Championship (LEC) and FIFA.
Earlier this month, Astralis shareholders voted to take the company private, approving a measure to delist from the Nasdaq First North Growth Market Denmark.
