HP-owned gaming peripherals division HyperX announced Monday that it has signed Sean Gares as a HyperX ambassador.
Financial terms and duration of the deal were not disclosed.
Gares is best known for being a now-former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional player who has worked for esports organizations such as Cloud 9 and Echo Fox, as well as a professional caster for Riot Games’ official Valorant esports events team, and the former head coach of 100 Thieves’ Valorant roster.
Gares is represented by Endeavor-owned William Morris Agency.
Under the terms of this new deal, Gares will help develop “exclusive HyperX content” that showcases the company’s line-up of gaming peripherals, and generally promote the brand in video content, and through his social media channels.
On July 18, HyperX announced that it had signed a new partnership with esports organization the Knights and a new product collaboration with Team Liquid called “HyperX x Liquid.”
