Esports organization PSG Talon announced a sponsorship agreement with PC hardware maker AMD on Friday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. This is a bit of a milestone, as AMD doesn’t typically sponsor individual organizations.
As part of the deal, PSG Talon will use PCs powered by AMD’s Ryzen 9 7950X3D desktop processor, and will promote the company on social media, in marketing, and will feature the AMD branding on its jerseys.
PSG Talon is a professional League of Legends team formed in partnership with Paris Saint-Germain Esports and TALON competing in the Pacific Championship Series (PCS). Both organizations renewed their partnership for an additional three years in May.
AMD joins other TALON sponsors and partners including 1xBET, AfreecaTV, Secretlab, Yesports, Logitech G, G-BEAT, Carnival, Nanoleaf, SteelSeries, Chef Cares, content creator Gamtoh, and United Esports.
TALON currently fields teams in Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines, competing in League of Legends (PSG.Talon), Dota 2 (PSG.LGD), Fortnite (PSG.TNA), Arena of Valor, Rainbow Six Siege, Pokémon UNITE, and FIFA 23.
