The esports division of French football club Paris Saint-Germain and Southeast Asia-based esports organization Talon Esports announced Monday that they have extended their multi-year team partnership agreement for an additional three years.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the renewed deal, PSG Esports and Talon will continue to work together under the League of Legends license and compete in the Pacific Championship Series across Asia under the name “PSG Esports.”
The joint organization will “prioritize talent development and an athletic approach to competitive gaming, while also pursuing commercial partnerships and regionally tailored content creation,” according to a release.
PSG Esports currently operates six teams in League of Legends (PSG.Talon), Dota 2 (PSG.LGD), Fortnite (PSG.TNA), Arena of Valor, Rainbow Six Siege, and FIFA 23.
Talon also announced Monday that it has renewed its partnership with SteelSeries for its Dota 2 team.
