Atlanta-based esports and gaming organization Ghost Gaming announced Tuesday that it has expanded its regional partnership with youth esports league XP League to open a new location in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, Georgia.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The new XP League Buckhead location in Atlanta will operate on the same esports campus as the Ghost Gaming team headquarters, give youth in XPL youth an opportunity to interact with Ghost Gaming members and take part in pop-up events, according to a release. Plans are for the new location to open on May 29.
In conjunction with the launch of this new location, a co-branded Ghost Gaming Academy jersey has been designed by Ghost Gaming apparel partner Skullz and is available to the general public and to “XPL center operators at group rates for their youth teams.”
Ghost Gaming began its partnership with XP League in February. Under the terms of the original deal, XP League players from the Southeast region of the United States were designated as part of “Ghost Gaming Academy teams.”
Ghost Gaming currently competes in a number of games including Fortnite, Rocket League, Valorant, and Call of Duty, among others.
