Southeast Asia-based esports organization Talon Esports announced Monday that it is officially entering the Pokémon UNITE competitive scene in the region and has signed a roster based in the Philippines. The new team will begin competing in the APAC-EAST regional qualifiers on April 15-16, with the hopes of qualify for the Pokémon World Championship Series 2023 Pokémon UNITE category.
Talon’s new Pokémon UNITE team joins other team’s in the organization’s lineup including League of Legends, Valorant, Dota 2, and Arena of Valor.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Talon operates out of several SEA countries including Thailand, Taiwan, the Philippines, and South Korea.
