Amazon Prime Gaming Extends Partnership With Riot Games

In-game items will be offered to Prime subscribers for the remainder of 2023.

Riot Games and Amazon Prime Gaming have renewed their partnership for “Twitch drops” through the remainder of 2023. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Riot will continue to work with Amazon Prime Gaming to offer “exclusive in-game content” (or drops) for Riot titles such as League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, Valorant, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Teamfight Tactics. Prime Gaming will also continue to serve as global sponsor for various Riot esports including League of Legends and Valorant, and also serve as the first global sponsor for Teamfight Tactics.

Riot and Amazon Prime Gaming will offer the following promotions on Twitch to Prime subscribers:

Beginning in March:
League of Legends – a Prime Gaming Capsule will be available that includes a Mystery Skin Permanent (guaranteed epic), a Champion Permanent, 350 Riot Points, four Champion Shards, 30-day XP boost, Mystery Ward Skin, two Series 1 Eternal Shards, and 200 Orange Essence.

League of Legends: Wild Rift – new content every month for an entire year (12 drops total) including random Baubles, Emotes, Recalls, Skins, and Skin Poses.

Valorant — timed-exclusive core content every month for an entire year (12 drops total) including Player Cards, Gun Buddies and Sprays.

Legends of Runeterra — Prime members can claim content on a monthly basis including Tier 3 Prismatic Chests, Epic Cards and Rare Cards.

Beginning in April:
Teamfight Tactics — Prime members can claim content every month for an entire year (12 drops total) including Emote, Icon, Little Legend and Star Shard bundle content.
