Longtime Head of Riot Games Music Toa Dunn announced this week on social media that he was leaving the company for a new (and as of this writing, undisclosed) opportunity elsewhere.
In a social media post Monday, Dunn said:
After nearly a decade at Riot Games and building an innovative music initiative across video games, esports, and Film & TV, I am excited to embark on my next adventure(s). More details are to be disclosed at a later time.”
And I’m super thankful for the many community members who I’ve been fortunate enough to build a connection with. Your content has lifted our world and I look forward to being in the fan seat moving forward.
Dunn joined Riot in 2013 as a music development producer for nearly three years, creating production standards across the entire company ecosystem, refining contracts and spearheading music production related to the company’s top IP. In 2015 he was promoted to development manager where he led production on the definitive web portal for the League of Legends franchise, “League of Legends Universe” website, among other things.
Finally, Dunn was promoted to his current role as head of music in 2016, where he spent more than seven years helping to build Riot’s music. television, and film initiatives.
Dunn takes a trip down memory lane highlighting some of his favorite moments working at the company in this Twitter thread.
