SteelSeries, ControlFreek Partner With Bungie for Destiny 2: Lightfall Gear

New expansion gets product ties-in with gaming peripheral makers.

Microsoft-owned game developer Bungie, peripherals maker SteelSeries and its wholly-owned subsidiary KontrolFreek announced the launch of a limited collection of gaming gear to coincide with the release of the upcoming expansion to Destiny 2, Lightfall.

Inspired by the color schemes and graphics of the expansion, the new limited-edition collection includes new designs for a range of products including the Arctis 7+ headset, Aerox 5 wireless gaming mouse, the QcK Prism XL mousepad, and KontrolFreek thumbsticks. In addition, those who purchase the special-edition collection will receive “exclusive in-game cosmetics for Destiny 2.”

The new products are available for PC, PS4 & PS5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. As part of this collaboration, Bungie sound designers have created a “custom Sonar Audio Software Suite equalizer preset.”

  • KontrolFreek Performance Thumbsticks | Destiny 2: Lightfall Edition – NA: $19.99
