South Korean game publisher Krafton announced Friday details of the 2023 PUBG Mobile pro-tier esports schedule, which includes two global competitions—-PUBG MOBILE World Invitational (PMWI) and PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC), and general details on the expanded PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL). Krafton also announced that the league will reveal details “soon” on its new “partner league” for Southeast Asia, which will create partnerships with pro teams.

First, the Southeast Asia division of PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) will begin later this month, with the competition running until the beginning of March. This will be followed by the North American division’s Americas Championship running from March to April, followed by competition in the Brazil and Latin American subregions running from March to May.

The Africa subdivision, Pro League Middle East & Africa Championship, is scheduled for March to April, followed by the Arabia subdivision running from May to June. The European Championship, featuring subdivisions Türkiye and Europe, is also set to take place later this year, with dates to be announced.

The PUBG Mobile Regional Clash has been expanded for 2023, giving fans an opportunity to see regional teams go head-to-head outside of the regular global tournaments.

PMWI returns in July, and will be held in Riyadh this year, with the top two strongest teams from SEA, and one team each from South Asia, Middle East & Africa, Europe, and the Americas competing.

The season will end with the PMGC League, running from November to December, before concluding top teams advancing to the Grand Finals in late-December. The 2023 PMGC will feature 48 teams, including 11 from Southeast Asia, six from South Asia, six from Middle East & Africa, seven from Europe, and seven from the Americas. The rest of the slots and tournament format for PMWI and PMGC will be announced at a later date.

As previously announced, the PMPL is being expanded through what is being called an “SEA Wild Card,” which covers the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore regions. It was also previously announced that PUBG Mobile Esports tournaments will be transitioning to a 10-point system.

Other details concerning the 2023 season such as specific dates for each competition and total prize pools were not announced. A visual map of the 2023 season structure can be found below.
