Los Angeles-based esports organization Sentinels announced Tuesday that it has signed a new partnership with international gaming peripherals and accessories company Razer.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the new partnership has a one-year term.

Under the terms of this new deal, the new Razer Iskur V2 gaming chair (which has a retail price of $649 USD) will be the official gaming chair for Sentinels players and the organization will be Team Razer, which spotlights the “world’s best esports athletes.”

This announcement follows a successful partnership with Sentinels Valorant player Zachary “zekken” Patrone, who (much to  Razer’s delight, no doubt) won the Grand Finals of VCT 2024: Masters Madrid using the Razer Viper V3 Pro wireless esports mouse—part of Razer’s line of esports gaming peripherals.

“Razer has been a long-standing player in esports and I’m excited to be working with them closely, they’re supporting the brand and we’re looking forward to ensuring our players get the most comfortable peripherals to allow them to compete at the highest level,” said Sentinels CEO Rob Moore.

Sentinels currently fields teams in Valorant, Apex Legends, and Halo, and supports a stable of content creators such as Tarik Celik,  Brandon “Aceu” Winn, Daphne “39Daph” Wai, and Jared “Zombs” Gitlin. Razer joins other Sentinels sponsors including energy drink company Advanced, PC maker Starforge Systems, and gaming peripherals brand ZOWIE by BenQ.

Founded in 2005, Razer is a gaming peripherals and accessories company that makes a wide range of products including keyboards, mice, controllers, gaming chairs, and more. The company—one of the most endemic esports sponsors in the ecosystem—has headquarters in California and Singapore, and regional offices in China, Germany, and 19 other locations worldwide.
