North American-based, youth esports-focused company XP League announced this week that its 2024 North American Finals will once again be hosted at Full Sail University. Full Sail University will also serve as the event’s title sponsor for the third consecutive year. The 2024 XP League North American Finals will take place June 28-30, at Full Sail University’s Orlando Health Fortress, in Orlando, Florida.
According to a release, more than 250 players from across the country will head to Orlando in June to compete in multiple esports titles including Apex Legends, Fortnite, Overwatch 2, Rocket League, and Valorant. The three-day event will also provide industry experience for Full Sail students and graduates helping with setup, production, and more, organizers say.
“We are excited to bring the XP League North American Finals back to campus for the third year,” said Sari Kitelyn, Director of Esports and Project Development at Full Sail University. “Our students and graduates serve the youth esports community in so many key areas – from coaching and observing to event production and tournament organizing – we are proud to bring professional level production to this incredibly talented group of competitors.”
XP League also said that it will award $30K USD in scholarships to “select Full Sail students who contribute to the event’s success.”
The three-day tournament will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch, with tickets available for those who want to attend in person at www.xplnafinals.com.
XP League is part of youth-focused company Unleashed Brands, which also owns Urban Air, Snapology, The Little Gym, Class 101, Premier Martial Arts, and Sylvan Learning.
