The International Esports Federation (IESF) announced Thursday that the 2024 World Esports Championship will feature a total prize pool of $1M USD. The 2024 WEC will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from Nov. 11 – 16.

In a release, the organization said that this announcement “marks the first time in our tournament’s history that we are increasing the prize pool to this extent.”

Additionally, each of the 16 participating teams in PUBG Mobile will receive a portion of the prize pool this year. IESF also provided the following graphic to showcase hope the prize pool will be distributed this year among game titles including Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2 Men’s and Women’s competitions, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Men’s and Women’s competitions, PUBG Mobile, and eFootball.
