SteelSeries partners with Capcom for CAPCOM CUP X featuring Street Fighter 6

Gaming and esports accessories and peripheral company SteelSeries announced Friday that it has been named the official headset of CAPCOM CUP X, the final leg of the 2023 Capcom Pro Tour esports season featuring Street Fighter 6. The CAPCOM CUP X Grand Finals winner will earn a $1M USD grand prize.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

Under the terms of this partnership, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro headset will be available to all 48 competitors during the competition. 

CAPCOM CUP X players have qualified to compete based on their performance at events throughout the Capcom Pro Tour 2023 season (more details on competitors in this grand final event can be found here). 

Event Dates: 

  • February 16 – 18: Last Chance Qualifier
  • February 21 – 23: Group Elimination
  • February 24: Street Fighter League World Championship
  • February 25: CAPCOM CUP X Grand Finals

CAPCOM CUP X will be livestreamed on the CapcomFighters Twitch channel, with other content such as competition highlights, player interviews, and game updates featured on SteelSeries’ Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok channels.

SteelSeries’ current and former roster of team partnerships includes FaZe Clan, T1 Entertainment & Sports, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team (official esports team of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team), and Red Bull OG. OTher esports-related sponsorships include Red Bull Flick, Red Bull Solo Q, Red Bull Campus Clutch, and BLAST Premier.
