IESF reveals the Worlds Esports Champions 2024 game titles

The International Esports Federation (IESF) announced Thursday the line-up of competitive titles that will be part of its World Esports Championship 2024 event (WEC24) taking place Nov 11 – 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The WEC24 will feature competitions in Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, the eFootball series, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and PUBG Mobile. This year the tournament features seven competitions across these five titles, which includes women’s competitions in Counter-Strike 2 and the newly introduced MLBB league for women, MLBB Women.

“The upcoming World Esports Championship will manifest the incredible growth and global impact of competitive gaming, noted HRH Prince Faisal,  president of the IESF and the Saudi Esports Federation. “It is a thrilling opportunity for us to showcase the current state of the organization and celebrate the spirit of competition that unites gamers from around the world. We are confident that this Championship will not only captivate audiences but also inspire a new generation of Esports enthusiasts. Together, let us embrace the joy and friendship of this extraordinary event and continue to propel the Esports ecosystem to even greater heights.”

National qualifiers are already underway, according to the IESF, which will help select players who will represent their countries in the Regional Qualifiers. From there, those winning players will advance to WEC24 in Riyadh later this year.
