Texas-based esports organization OpTic Gaming has partnered with U.S.-based sportsbook and fantasy sports company FanDuel.
Financial terms and duration of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of the deal, FanDuel will serve as the official sportsbook partner of OpTic Gaming. OpTic will also work with the company on promoting its products and services in the U.S. through marketing campaigns, activations, and branding placement on social media and streaming platform content. We do not know if the deal includes branding on team jerseys, as of this writing (but we assume it would).
To kick off this new partnership, OpTic and its top personalities including former Call of Duty pro Seth “Scump” Abner and OpTic CEO and Founder Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez are promoting an activation where customers who sign up to FanDuel, and deposit and bet $20 USD, can get a free OpTic jersey. Five winners chosen at random will get a signed jersey.
