FaZe Clan Partners With Rollbit

Los Angeles-based esports and gaming company FaZe Clan announced Tuesday that it has signed a “multi-million dollar esports sponsorship deal” with Rollbit, a crypto casino platform built on the Ethereum blockchain that offers games and sports betting, NFTs, and crypto trading.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but FaZe Clan noted in its release that the sponsorship is a multi-million dollar deal.

Under the terms of this new partnership, Rollbit will become a global partner of FaZe Clan’s top-ranked Counter-Strike 2 team, with branding on FaZe apparel, and social media and streaming platform channels. Though not stated in its announcement, one would assume that FaZe will work with Rollbit on original content creation and activations aimed at jurisdictions where it is legal to use Rollbit’s services.

Rollbit’s sponsorship of FaZe Clan is “focused exclusively outside of the United States,” according to the announcement. Rollbit is not legal to use in Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Bonaire, Curacao, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Netherlands, North Korea, Saba, Slovakia, Spain, St Maarten, Statia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, the U.S. and U.S. territories, and the United Kingdom.

Rollbit joins other FaZe Clan sponsors and partners including SCUF Gaming, Ghost, Porsche, Nike, Steelseries, McDonald’s, Draft Kings, DoorDash, and Totino’s Pizza Rolls.

FaZe Clan is currently finalizing a deal to be acquired by publicly traded esports holding GameSquare, which also owns and operates multi-discipline esports organization Complexity Gaming. A formal vote amongst shareholders of both companies is set to take place in February.
