BLAST Premier adds Tradeit as global partner

Denmark-based esports tournament operator BLAST announced this week that it has partnered with Counter-Strike skin trading site Tradeit.gg for the 2024 season of its Counter-Strike 2 competition series, BLAST Premier.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of this new deal, Tradeit.gg will serve as the global partner of the league. BLAST said in its announcement that the site’s branding will be integrated into digital broadcasts, promoted during broadcast desk segments, and through campaigns across its social media and streaming channels. Tradeit.gg will also work with BLAST on marketing campaigns and offer activations such as skin giveaways to viewers during the season. Tradeit.gg’s presence in BLAST Premier will make its debut at Spring Groups starting on Jan. 29.

The Spring Groups will feature a total prize pool of $190K USD, with first – fourth place winners taking home $22.5K each and fifth – sixth place taking home $12.5K each. The top six teams will qualify for the Spring Finals later this year at the Wembley Arena in London.

Participating teams include Astralis, BIG, Cloud9, Complexity Gaming and FaZe Clan (both soon to be owned by GameSquare), G2 Esports, Heroic, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG Esports, Team Liquid, Team Vitality, GamerLegion, Team Falcons, Team Spirit, and Virtus.pro.

BLAST also announced that its BLAST TV App Beta will be coming to iOS and Android on Monday.
