Riot Debuts Worlds 2023 Anthem

“GODS” now available at most major music streaming platforms, music video debuts on YouTube.

Riot Games premiered the official anthem for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2023), “GODS,” performed by Korean pop music group NewJeans. The musical track was written by Riot Games Principal Composer Sebastien Najand and Alex Seaver of Mako, and is available now on all major music streaming platforms. The music video for the song also debuted on the official League of Legends YouTube channel on Tuesday and features world champion LoL professional player Kim “Deft” Hyuk-Kyu.

Worlds 2023 officially kicks off with the Worlds Qualifying Series between esports organizations Team BDS and Golden Guardians on Oct. 9. For a complete schedule of matches, check out lolesports.com.

Worlds 2023 will take place in Busan and Seoul, South Korea, from Oct. 10 – Nov. 19. The road to the championship begins on Oct. 9 with the Play-Ins (Oct. 9-15)  at the LoL Park in Seoul, followed by the Group Stage (Oct. 19-29 at the KBS Arena in Seoul, the quarter-finals: (Nov. 2-5) at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan, the semi-finals (Nov. 11-12) at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in  Busan, and the finals on Nov. 19 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
