Publicly-traded, Canadian esports and gaming company OverActive Media (TSXV: OAM, OTCQB: OAMCF) announced Thursday a new initiative called the “Content Creator Academy.”

AOM said in a release that the Content Creator Academy features a roster of 20 influencers aligned with its professional esports teams including Call of Duty League (CDL) team Toronto Ultra, Overwatch League (OWL) team Toronto Defiant, and its Spain-based, League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) team MAD Lions.

The Content Creator Academy has a reach of more than 15M streaming and social media platforms that include TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Trovo, the company said.

AOM VP of Marketing and Brand calls this new initiative an investment in the creator space, and a new way for its organizations and brand partners to connect with new audiences across multiple platforms.
