Florida-based esports and gaming company Misfits Gaming Group announced this week that it is launching a multi-city tour to bring its popular gaming-focused game shows, Pixel Playground LIVE! and Name Your Price, to fans for some live and in-person events in October and November.
Pixel Playground LIVE! will feature Misfits Creative Director and Pixel Playground Co-Founder Karl Jacobs and Pixel Playground Co-founder KreekCraft, giving fans of their content a chance to interact with the duo. The Name Your Price live show will feature Twitch content creator AustinShow and special guests, live crowd interactions, giveaways, and more with 70s-themed events.
The shows will take place Oct. 7, in Miami Beach, Florida, at The Fillmore; Oct. 9, at the Bayou Music Center in Austin, Texas; and Nov. 11, in Long Beach, California, at the Terrace Theater. Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster.com.
The shows are part of Misfits Gaming Group’s shift into becoming more than just an esports organization through both the creation of gaming-focused entertainment content and game content for popular games such as Roblox and Minecraft.
In late-June, Misfits rebranded, changing its iconic logo to represent the company’s change in business priorities—a representation of its shift into being an entertainment company. In March, popular streamer Karl Jacobs joined the organization as a co-owner and creative director, co-founding a new studio called Pixel Playground under the Misfits umbrella alongside Roblox content creator KreekCraft. Jacobs is best known for being an affiliate content creator for YouTube juggernaut MrBeast.
Popular content creator AustinShow also joined Misfits in March as a content creator and executive producer, and relaunched production of Name Your Price, (formerly on the now defunct G4 TV).
