Riot Games and content creator Disguised Toast (Jeremy Wang) announced that they are working together on a special League of Legends competitive event called NA Legends Invitational, taking place Sept. 16-17.

The two-day event will feature professional players from the League Championship Series (LCS) and North American Challengers League (NACL) competing with popular League of Legends streamers for a share of the $10K USD prize pool. In addition to the cash prize, the winning team will also receive “a pair of custom Vi gauntlets crafted by Hoku Props specifically for this tournament, which will be engraved with each of the winning players’ names,” according to a release.

The players will be divided into four teams captained by Aphromoo, Scarra, Sneaky, and Yassuo, with casting duties being handled by CaptainFlowers and Azael on Disguised Toast’s official Twitch channel. Teams will be drafted by the four captains live on Disguised Toast’s Twitch channel on Sept. 3.

“I’ve always been a fan of League of Legends esports so this past year as a new team owner, for me, has been very fun and rewarding (although challenging at times). I’m really honored to have the opportunity to host this event with Riot – the players we’ve invited I’ve personally been a fan of and have grown up watching,” Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, Owner of Disguised, said in a release. “This event is a unique opportunity to bring the entire community together so hopefully everyone can enjoy the show whether you’re a new or old fan of LoL.”

After fielding a Valorant team, Wang hinted earlier this year that he was considering entering the League of Legends esports ecosystem by launching a team to compete in  NACL. On May 24, he made it official.
