The Minnesota Varsity League—the scholastic esports division of Wisdom Gaming—announced Wednesday a new partnership with educational software company Bluum to launch the first “Esports Development Clinic.”
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new partnership, the Minnesota Varsity League will work with Bluum to provide schools in the Midwest with the “knowledge and resources needed to build successful,
sustainable, and equitable academic esports programs,” according to a release.
The Esports Development Clinic will be hosted at Wisdom Gaming Studios (located in Mall of America) on Aug. 2, with Bluum serving as the presenting sponsor.
The Esports Development Clinic will also feature a variety of speaker-led breakout sessions covering a variety of core topics such as new school onboarding, collegiate recruitment, choosing the right equipment to build an esports lab, game specific coaching, fundraising tips, utilizing social media for promotion of programs and events, and more. Wisdom will also host an after party at Wisdom Gaming Studios for networking opportunities.
