Under the terms of this new partnership, Challengermode has been named the organization’s official esports tournament platform and will operate “free-to-play, weekly gaming tournaments,” starting with a FIFA 23 tournament—Treble Winners Cup—kicking off on June 29, for European fans. Weekly FIFA 23 and Rocket League tournaments are also in the works, with plans to expand to other titles in the future, according to a release.
Challengermode has worked with several major brands and companies including BLAST, Krafton (PUBG), OMEN by HP, Discord, Nodwin, CORSAIR, Twitch, Boston Celtics, Red Bull, and Fnatic, among others. Man City Esports currently fields professional teams in FIFA 23 and Fortnite.
