Global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE announced Thursday that it has extended its partnership with the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF).
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of the deal, SPORTFIVE will “provide strategic sales support and project management on a range of the federation’s initiatives,” according to a release. SPORTFIVE will also serve as the main partnership agency for the upcoming esports and gaming event, Gamers8: The Land of Heroes, which will run eight weeks in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting July 8. The event features gaming competitions with big prize pools, music concerts, game-related activities and conferences with industry leaders in esports and gaming.
Last year SPORTFIVE began working with the SEF to provide marketing, strategic sales, project management, and on-site support.
Gamers8: The Land of Heroes will feature an overall prize pool of $45M USD across multiple competitions including TEKKEN 7, Fortnite, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, StarCraft II, Dota 2, and PUBG.
