The Esports Awards announced Tuesday that it has appointed former Fandom executive Sean Kiely as its new chief revenue officer, effective immediately.

Kiely most recently served as the global head of gaming and esports sales at  fan platform Fandom—he served in that role for more than four years. Over the years he has held similar positions at regional and national companies including Curse, The Nielsen Company, Fox, William Morris Endeavor (WME), and Clear Channel Radio, among others.

Based in Chicago, Kiely is charged with bolstering “the company’s international team and NA presence, paving the way for further growth and expansion,” according to a release.

The Esports Awards is an international esports company that honors and celebrates the biggest and best people and companies working in the esports industry. Last year’s event was held at Resorts World Las Vegas, after multiple years of being hosted at Esports Stadium Arlington. The 2023 awards ceremony will take place at the same location sometime at the end of this year (typically November). You can learn more about the awards at esportsawards.com.
