Activision Blizzard announced Wednesday that its annual fan festival dedicated to Blizzard Entertainment’s popular games (StarCraft II, World of Warcraft, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, Diablo IV, etc.) will be making a triumphant return as an in-person this year. BlizzCon 2023 will take place in Anaheim, California, Nov. 3 – 4, at the Anaheim Convention Center.
For the last several years the event has been online-only—several times it was restricted and/or canceled as an in-person gathering due to concerns about spreading COVID-19 amongst its fans and local and state guidelines on crowd sizes—also related to concerns about spreading the virus.
Those looking to book accommodation now can find hotel blocks from Blizzard here.
More details about activities including panels, competitions, and other fan-related events, as well as ticketing information, will be announced at a later date, the company said.
