Three-player teams (trios) signed up for “GameBattles” can begin competing from April 28 – 30 in North America and Europe, with the top 50 Trios in each region advancing to the WSOW Qualifiers from May 4 – 5. From there, the top 25 teams will be invited to a regional final with a $150K prize pool (per region) on May 17 (EU) and May 18 (NA). From there—following a last chance qualifier in July—a global final with a $500K prize pool will be held at an in-person event (location to be announced) in September. In addition, a $100K solo event will also be part of the Finals.

Details on competitions in other regions outside of NA and Europe will be announced, but the tentative plan is to offer LATAM, APAC and MEA regions an opportunity to qualify for the WSOW Global Final through regional qualifiers. Competition in these regions will be divided into Qualifiers for LATAM North, LATAM South, Mexico, Brazil, Asia, ANZ, and MEA.
