The company said in a release on Sunday that these new hires will help it connect with endemic and non-endemic brands to esports tournament operations in Southeast Asia.

Bhandaru is a seasoned marketing executive who has represented the region for major companies including Razer, GIGABYTE, Faxtel Systems (the company representing SteelSeries in the region), Brilliant Entertainment, Xanova, and Cooler Master, among others.

Kulshreshtha brings her sports business development experience to Skyesports. She has worked for such companies as Mobile Premier League, Big Bang Media Ventures, women’s cricket team the Rajasthan Royals, and the United States Tennis Association, among others.

These new hires follow the organization announcing its new franchised league, the Skyesports Masters, last week. The league dedicated to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will offer a total prize pool of 2 Crore INR, or roughly $245K USD.
