Mainframe Studios is working with Fortnite player and content creator Nick “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony on a new animated television show called Endurathon. First reported by Animation Magazine, the new show will be built using Unreal Engine 5.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed and it is unknown what platforms it will be available on as of this writing.
The show’s premise is described as “esports meets American Ninja Warrior.” Endurathon tells the story of 14-year-old Colton and best friend Deeci, who are invited to compete in “Endurathon,” a virtual game world where four seasoned teams await the duo to challenge them as they fight their way to the top of a  battle royale tournament with five connected quests.
On brand for Amyoony (who by all accounts, is a nice guy), the show’s creators plan to deliver a positive message that promotes teamwork, the importance of friendship, and how winning comes from being patient, practicing, and having determination.
Mainframe Studios is best known for such animated series as ReBoot, Team Zenko Go, and The Guava Juice Show, among others. Endurathon is being developed by Mainframe Studios’ President and CCO Michael Hefferon, writer Larry Raskin, and is being executive produced by Amyoony and Mainframe SVP of Content Gregory R. Little.
Amyoony, who is a self-described positive and family friendly content creator, has 4.3M followers on Twitch, 7.7M subscribers on YouTube, and 1.1M followers on Twitter.
