Esports organization TSM announced Tuesday that it has partnered with blockchain company Avalanche. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of the deal Avalanche has been named the exclusive blockchain partner for TSM and its competitive gaming platform Blitz.
TSM will work with Avalanche to create “player-first Web3 gaming products that combine the technology and expertise of Blitz with Avalanche’s “Core”
to power “all user payments and to store, sell, and purchase digital assets.
The partnership will also see Blitz get its own “subnet,” or customized blockchain, on the Avalanche blockchain as a dedicated Blitz Subnet. Finally, TSM will work with Avalanche to create branded tournaments on the Blitz Subnet via the company’s Blitz Arenas.
Avalanche joins other TSM partners such as Logitech gaming peripherals brand Logitech G, home and auto insurance company Geico, and carmaker GMC.
