Riot Games and gaming peripherals brand HyperX announced Thursday a “multi-year partnership extension” for the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). HyperX was a founding partner of the VCT when it officially launched in 2021. Financial terms of the multi-year extension were not disclosed.
As part of the renewed deal, HyperX will continue to serve as the “official partner for gaming keyboard, mice, and mouse pads,” according to a release. HyperX gaming products will be used for VCT global events including the recently concluded VCT LOCK//IN tournament, VCT Masters Tokyo in June, VCT Champions, and the championship of the all-women’s tournament series, the Valorant Game Changers Championship.
HyperX, a brand of computer maker Hewlett Packard (HP), is one of the most prolific endemic sponsors of esports tournaments, tournament operators, esports organizations, and gaming-focused content creators in the world.
