Riot Reveals Capsule Collection for VCT LOCK//IN

Partnered teams get 50% of the revenue from the sale of in-game items.

Riot Games announced this week the Valorant Challengers Tour (VCT) LOCK//IN Capsule—a collection of in-game items to benefit partnered teams—and the launch of a new merchandise line inspired by the upcoming VCT event taking place in São Paulo, Brazil, beginning Feb. 13.

The VCT LOCK//IN Capsule is a collection of in-game items that will directly benefit officially partnered teams, with 50% of the revenue kicked back to them. The capsule collection features melee items, three cards representing each international league, and a new spray. The items will be available for a limited time in-game from Feb. 8 – March 7, according to Riot. More details on the collection can be found here.

Riot also announced a new line of apparel related to VCT LOCK//IN including a new shirt, hoodie, and hat.

Partnered teams for the 2023 season include Gen.G Esports, ZETA DIVISION, DetonatioN FocusMe, T1, Talon Esports, DRX, Global Esports, Paper Rex, Team Secret, Rex Regum Qeon, KOI (formerly Rogue), Karmine Corp, Fnatic, Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, Team Liquid, Team Heretics, BBL Esports, Giants, FUT Esports, Cloud9, Sentinels, NRG, KRÜ Esports, Leviatán, LOUD, FURIA Esports, 100 Thieves, MIBR, and Evil Geniuses.

VCT LOCK//IN kicks off on Feb. 13, at 9 a.m. PT and will feature 32 teams vying for a piece of a $500K USD prize pool and an extra spot for their region at the Masters Tokyo competition later this year.
