Publicly-traded esports and gaming company GameSquare (CSE:GSQ, OTCQB:GMSQF) announced Wednesday that popular content creator Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has joined the company as its new chief innovation officer. This will be Blevins’ first executive role.

Blevins will launch a “GameSquare incubator” called Ninja Labs, where he will help the company “ideate and develop first-of-its-kind concepts and products directly focused on connecting with youth culture,” by seeking out unique business opportunities, develop new IPs and consumer products, and more according to a release.

Blevins, a former professional Halo player who dove headfirst into the world of content creation with a focus on Fortnite, is one of the most recognized content creators in the world. He currently enjoys 6.7M followers on Twitter, 23.7M subscribers on YouTube, 18.5M followers on Twitch, 12.5M followers on Instagram, and 9.6M followers on TikTok.

He joins a roster of high-profile creators at the company including Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar, the Baka Bros, and Dennis “Cloakzy” Lepore, among others. GameSquare says that with the addition of Blevins, the company’s collective social media reach is now more than 290 million followers.

GameSquare owns Frisco, Texas-based esports organization Complexity Gaming, esports talent agency Code Red, Gaming Community Network (GCN), Fourth Frame Studios, Mission Supply, and ZONED.
