Tournament organizer ESL FACEIT Group announced Tuesday that the next ESL One Dota 2 Major “powered by Intel” will be held in Berlin, from April 26 – May 7.

The Berlin Major will serve as the conclusion of the DPC Spring Tour 2022-2023 and will feature a total prize pool of $500K USD, with 18 of the top qualifying Dota 2 teams from Eastern Europe, Western Europe, North America, South America, Southeast Asia, and China. The final three days of the Major will take place inside Berlin’s Velodrom in-door arena, which is capable of seating around 12,000 fans, depending on the configuration of the event.

The ESL One Berlin Major begins April 26 with the Group Stage (best-of-2 round-robin format) with two groups of nine teams competing in a studio environment. The top six teams from each group will advance to a double-elimination Playoff Stage which takes place in front of a live audience at Velodrom in Berlin from May 5 – 7, 2023.

The entire event will be broadcast through ESL’s Dota 2 Twitch and YouTube channels and through its dedicated broadcast partners. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday (Feb. 8) at 3pm CET.
