FaZe Holdings Chief Legal Officer and Head of Business and Legal Affairs Tamara Brandt has resigned from her post and will officially leave the company effective Feb. 3, according to an 8K form filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Tuesday. The filing—first reported by Marcus Howard—claims that Brandt will join Creative Artists Agency sometime in February in a new senior role in its legal department.

Brandt also signed a separation agreement with FaZe and will take on a paid advisory contract on Feb. 3 (both documents are dated Jan. 15). FaZe Corporate Counsel Kyron Johnson will serve as the acting general counsel of the company when Brandt officially exits.

There was a slight indication on Dec. 22—when Brandt unloaded $89K USD worth of stock at $1.88 per share—that she might be making plans for an exit from FaZe.

Brandt joined Faze to take on the chief legal officer and head of business and legal affairs role in March of 2021 (in December of that year she joined B. Riley Financials’ board as an independent director).  Prior to joining FaZe, she worked in similar roles at Dreamscape Immersive, DXC Technology, ServiceMesh, and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., among others.
