Nate Schanker revealed this week via social media that he is part of M80, the new esports organization created by former XSET Co-Founder Marco Mereu. Schanker is listed as a co-founder alongside Mereu, and will serve in the role of director of marketing.
Prior to this announcement Schanker served as head of social at XSET where he spent more than two years promoting the brand, its partnerships, its events, and participation in international esports competitions.
Also joining Schanker and Mereu is Zachary Azzara, who will service as creative director of M80. Prior to joining M80, Azzara spent more than two years at XSET as design director. and has done graphic design work for such companies as Major League Gaming, Team Liquid, eSportsNation, and Elevate.
M80 was officially announced this week by Mereu, revealing in a video its first completive line-up for Valorant Challengers. We suspect news about new hires on the executive team will trickle in in the weeks ahead, and more competitive rosters will be revealed as the organization stakes its claim in multiple international esports.
