Fast food restaurant chain Jack in the Box has partnered with GameSquare-owned company ZONED Gaming for a worldwide talent search called “Gamer Jack,” to find and ultimately collaborate with an “up-and-coming content creator” to grow its brand in gaming. The person chosen for this role will work as the company’s “full-time Head Twitch Creator” and will help create a community around the company and its brand online, according to a release.

The Gamer Jack will help build and promote the brand online by collaborating to build out and execute a social media and content creation strategy, run weekly livestreams and VOD content, work with other “top gaming personalities and rising streamers” to create content and host community events.

The campaign starts Oct. 3 and will run until Oct. 10. To participate, candidates will submit a video describing why they are the best choice for the role. Additional information that applicants need to provide include their background in the gaming community, if they have ever live streamed before, the games they regularly play, and what social media accounts they currently have.

The role has a price tag of around $90K in combined salary and benefits, including a “gaming setup makeover” (awarded in the form of a check for $10K) an employment contract, and a custom Gamer Jack AR filter for livestreams. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Applicants must be legal residents of the United States and be at least 18 years old to be eligible.

Further details about the promotion and the benefits attached to it can be found here.
