Publicly-traded sports and esports betting and media company Rivalry announced Monday that it is teaming up with Canadian professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive commentator and former player Mohan “Launders” Govindasamy for the Launders LAN, a follow-up tournament to the Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournament FragFest that took place in January.

The Launders LAN will feature a total prize pool of $10K CAD (roughly $7.4K USD), 32 teams (up from 16 the last time around) in competition, and will be hosted in a 600-person venue over two days from April 20-21 at The Warehouse in downtown Toronto. Launders will serve as the host of the event and livestream it on his official Twitch channel, while attendees and online Rivalry customers will be able to bet on matches during the event.

In addition to the competition, a number of content offerings and on-site activations are being planned including “exclusive Launders-themed merch,” contests and more.

The previous event in January, FragFest, featured 125 competitors and over 300K total impressions on social media.

More details about Launders LAN will be released at a later date.
