ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and Znipe Esports announced a new dedicated streaming platform aimed at the global esports audience called FACEIT Watch.

The new platform promises a “multi-perspective viewing experience, allowing users to view their favorite player’s perspective alongside the main event stream,” according to a release. Other features include “multi-perspective viewing, a kill cam, live-generated highlights, a sound mixer, a rewards program, and more.”

The platform is being built in collaboration with technical partner Znipe Esports. Financial terms of this collaboration were not disclosed.

EFG said in its announcement that more than 100K viewers have tuned in on FACEIT Watch during the recent play-ins of IEM Katowice. It is unclear when and if FACEIT Watch features will be made available to other esports operated by EFG such as Overwatch Champions Series, Dota 2, StarCraft II, and the  Call of Duty 2024 Challengers Season. Currently it supports Counter-Strike 2 and Apex Legends, according to this page.

FACEIT Watch is now available to everyone at faceit.com.

EFG is part of Savvy Gaming Group, which is backed by the Saudi Government’s sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund.

Editor’s note: This story was updated after publication with a clarification that FACEIT WATCH is not fully supported with several esports titles on the platform. Currently the features are available for Apex Legends and Counter-Strike 2.
