Riot Games announced Thursday that mobile and broadband service provider AT&T has been named the official connectivity partner of League Championship Series (LCS), the North American esports league for League of Legends

Financial terms of this new partnership were not disclosed, but Riot describes it as a “multiyear deal.”

Under the terms of this new deal, AT&T will “power multiple areas of the LCS event and broadcast experience,” and have broadcast integration, ad spots, and on-site event activations.

AT&T will also work with Riot to create a new match-day broadcast segment called “LCS Connected presented by AT&T.” The segment will “showcase what happens behind the scenes during game action with audio of real-time shot calls and tactical discussion that make or break the outcome of each LCS match.” The AT&T brand will also be featured through in-game placement on rift banners and on the headsets of players, referees, and shoutcasters.

Finally, AT&T will serve as the presenting partner of “LCS Fan Fest,” the pre-party event held during the LCS Finals and LCS Championship later this year.

AT&T joins PAGODA and Kia as partners of LCS in 2024. UberEats, KitKat, Kia, and LG UltraGear are supporting the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) in 2024 as partners as well.
