Canadian esports company OverActive Media has signed a new partnership agreement with gaming brand Blacklyte and renewed its existing partnership with gaming peripherals company SCUF Gaming (SCUF).

Financial terms of both deals were not disclosed.

In case you are not familiar with the company, Blacklyte is a gaming-focused company based in Canada that creates gaming chairs, desks, lighting, and other accessories for gamers. Under the terms of this new partnership, OverActive will collaborate with Blacklyte to support professional Call of Duty League esports team Toronto Ultra and other company esports assets. This will include branding on Toronto Ultra and OverActive assets, broadcast integration, social media marketing and content creation, on-site integration and activations at the Toronto Ultra Major III tournament (April 12 – May 19), and naming rights to OverActive’s Creator Lab (the content studio located at OverActive’s Toronto facility).

SCUF Gaming, which has been an OverActive partner since 2020, will serve as Toronto Ultra’s official controller and accessory partner. In addition, SCUF Gaming will cooperate with OverActive on brand integration and custom content creation, on-site integration and activations at the Toronto Ultra Major III, and content revolving around Toronto Ultra players.

SCUF Gaming and Blacklyte join other Overactive partners and sponsors including Bell, Red Bull, Zilliqa, Razer, AMD, SEAT, TD Bank, Kappa, and Dell.

OverActive currently fields teams in Overwatch 2 (Overwatch Champions Series, formerly OWL) through its team Toronto Defiant, Call of Duty League, and League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) through its team MAD Lions. The company is currently trying to acquire assets of Team Randomk Esports S.L. (operating as “Movistar Riders“) and Goatch Global, S.L. (operating as “KOI“). The company announced plans to acquire these assets on Jan. 23
